XSPF Player plugin not showing up because of rewrite rules
-
I have a plugin that is not working correctly because I think a rewrite rule is not resolving properly.
My page should load up the xspf_player plugin, but the request for the plugin uses an get value that includes an “http” in it.
For example, this is the request it makes. I guess the scripts for xspf player stop executing and don’t load when it can’t find the playlist file:
http://www.getitonmusic.com/wp-content/plugins/xspf_player/xspf_player_slim.swf?autoload=true&repeat_playlist=true&playlist_url=http://www.getitonmusic.com/wp-content/plugins/xspf_player/playlist.phpNotice how the playlist_url arg has http://www.getitonmusic.com/wp-content/plugins/xspf_player/playlist.php for the value.
For some reason, the extra http:// in the GET value cause a 404 to be produced for that swf file. Weird. The only rewriting I have is in permalinks and its set to “/%category%/%postname%.html” custom structure.
Anybody think of what the problem is and how I can fix it so I don’t get a 404 anymore?
Thanks in advance.
