I have a similar issue to this, so rather than start a new thread I’ll post it here.

I’ve set up a forwarding url to a site I’m working on for a friend. It’s hosted under my own network so it’s not the simplest of addresses, which is why I set up the shorter domain redirect. The links are as follows:

    Direct link:
    http://sin.theweare.net

    Forwarding link:
    http://www.sin.co.nr

I had to ask the service admin to set it up manually as he’s imposed some – pretty ridiculous tbh – limitations on the service by practically interviewing candidates for url’s as short as the one above – that said he did set it up himself. But when I try to change any of the settings (ie. keywords, favicon, etc…) it doesn’t work and claims it can’t reach my “real address”. I contacted the admin and he claims his server’s being blocked Bad Behavior. The info from his logs are as follows:

    HTTP/1.1 403 Bad Behavior
    Date: Sun, 12 Dec 2010 15:53:19 GMT
    Server: Apache
    X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.13
    Connection: close
    Content-Type: text/html

Obviously that means I’ll need to set that specific as allowed so I can make changes from time to time, except I’m not sure how to. There’s no “white list” option on the admin side and I’m not messing about with files directly unless I know for sure it won’t completely mess up the site (again! :-/ X-D ). Can anyone advise on how to allow specific servers access to my site?

    Thanks in advance,

    Lee C
