How to detect current site into wp panel?

    Hi. First, sorry for my english 🙂

    I am developing a plugin for wordpress 3.0 and I’m tested in a multisite environment. I need a function to let me know which site the user is managing at the time. I tried get_current_site() function, but only returns me the main site from the wordpress panel. In the template get_current_site() works well, but not in wordpress panel. What function exists for this?
