    All,

    Blog : http://www.eftmagic.com/blog/

I created a new page – http://www.eftmagic.com/blog/social-media/partners . Yet for some reason when I entered the blog default url above it went straight to the above new page url.

Therefore it wasn’t showing my latest new post.

    I’ve deleted the page.
Created and published a new post since.
Renamed the index.php, this ended up just giving me a list of all my files, so renamed it back.
Replaced my theme with the default theme and changed it back again.
    Updated my super cache plugin.
Restarted my browser and tested under IE too.

Yet each time I type in the home url, it looks for this missing page. All other page tabs work as expected. I’m not sure what is going on.

    Thanks

    A

After checking my error logs with my host. I deactivated all my plugins. I’ll see now if I can narrow it down to one of them. Home Page and posts back up.

It appears to be the redirection plugin. With this plugin activated, my blog home page looks for the non existent page.

    Thanks Wilkies,
You are right. So frustrating trying to wokr out this error.
I don’t know whether “redirection” is a safe plugin to use now.
Or maybe it will behave now it has been deactivated and reactivated.
    thank you.
