• Hello all.

I was wondering how I can activate unicodes on my blog. I was able to type in the write page but once it’s postedt, it doesn’t show but only “?” for certain type/font. ie: [ê]

Please help. Thank you in advance.

  • WordPress uses Unicode (UTF-8) by default. You do need a unicode-aware font though. So it’s probably a problem of the font used and not your blog.

It works here but not on my blog.

    Instead of this ” ê” I get this “? “.

Have you tried altering the CSS to see it in a font that you know contains the unicode characters?
If you try to edit the post does it show the correct character again in the edit field?

    xtool,
when you say in “your blog” – do you mean when writing a post or when trying to type something in a template file?

    Yes.

When I make a post, the unicodes are working fine while writing, but after I made a post that is when I get “?” character. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if you are talking about having problems in blogger, try putting in the <$BlogMetaData$> tag
