Pagination conflict with two Loops on one page?!

Hi

My client has a blog which needs to have teaser mini posts along the side.

I created a “Teaser” category.
I excluded the Teaser category from the main loop.
In the sidebar, I’ve created another loop, but this time it only shows Teaser posts.

Result:
Does as it should.

The Bug:
The paging system on the footer now uses the last loop as reference, when I need it to use the first main blog loop as the reference. So now, I get no paging system.

Am I approaching this wrong?
Is there a way to show category specific posts without using the loop?

Would really appreciate some help!
