Site extremely slow after updating to wp3.0

    today I’ve updated wp to version 3.0 and since the site has been extremely show. It runs on its own dedicated server, but load averages go sky high and memory gets exhausted. I’m using the premium Blognews theme from Gabfire.

    Anyone have any idea what could cause wp to slowdown?
