• Dear support

I upgraded the version of buddypress from 1.2.4.1 to 1.2.5 and unfortunately my website, after displaying a message “This website is not available due to maintenance” for a few minutes, went completely blank. The website is Donatelloclub.co.uk.
    Waiting for advices.

    Thank you
    Donatello

Is there a .maintenance file in your site? Delete it if so.

Also, try manually upgrading BuddyPress (and also posting at buddypress.org as this may be a BP issue).

I had the same problem, and was forced to remove the old BuddyPress plugin via FTP to get the site working again. There may be a more elegant way to do this, and I’m still getting “failed upgrade” error messages, even after installing 1.2.5. That said, 1.2.5 seems to work just fine now.

That’s … more of a BuddyPress issue. It’s such a big plugin, it’s bound to have issues. I’d suggest always manually upgrading via FTP if that happens. I do and I never have issues. Then again, I almost always manually upgrade.
