Yea, I just tried to use it today, and it wasn’t working for me either…
Not supposed to for obvious reasons, for “shortenning” the text on the single post page use: <!–nextpage–>
but it wont drop down like show and hide will it?
i like the idea of having show/hide on single post because i can post a lot of pictures *like a gallery snippet* and hide them under Read More…and they can open and close it….as they wish…..
Easy enough to do using javascript…
wrap the “show more” portion like this:
<div onclick=”expandcontent(‘sc20’)” style=”cursor:pointer”>Click for more
<div id=”sc20″ class=”switchcontent”>
Blah, blah, blah
</div></div>
And have the swithcontent in the header. I’ll put up a temporary example just for today (so keep that in mind whomever comes by later):

now if i could just figure out how to get this in a plugin so i dont have to put all that <div> stuff everytime i wanna do it….
Create a quick tag – and before you ask, there are instructions somewhere already, probably the codex.
I know how to make a quicktag, i just didnt want to have to go through that…i LIKE plugins where you can just click “activate” and not have to worry about anything else.
Thanks though @ Beel
