  • Interesting. In my case, the event calendar listing is the event URL — but I can see cases where this would be useful. +1 from me!

    good idea +1!

is there any way you can do this now?

    +1 on this end!

HUGE +1 from me. I’m running a community calendar, and being able to send people to the event’s own website for more information than is listed on the calendar is a huge plus.

Anyone have a hack to this? I want to make it so “Website” is just another entry field like address and date info.

    Thanks for an awesome plugin!

Any movement on this? Seems like there’s a lot of support for it. If I were better at PHP I’d offer to help, but I’d just create more bugs than anything else. Instead, I’m happy to make a small donation to provide some incentive. 🙂

I’m pretty much a WordPress newb but, unless I’m misunderstanding the request, aren’t we talking about something that can be done in the New Event Post text description box? I’ve been typing my event description there and creating my hyperlinks to the event site via the Link tool.

    No?

That could work, but that’s adding another click for the user before they can see the details. Also, I know iCal has a field for url, and I would love to be able to add the url info to that field in my events iCal feed. Then when the feed propagates around the web, the url is there too.
