  • Hi,

I’m having some issues with the Twenty Ten theme…at least, I think the issues are related to the theme, but I’m not 100% certain.

This issue is new. I’ve created other posts with no similar issues.

When I upload an image and insert it into a post, the page stalls on a blank white screen.

I upload the image and see it in the media library, but when I hit “insert in post,” it brings me to a white screen and stalls.

I am also not able to add a category or add tags. The add a category button won’t open, and I can write the tags in the tag location, when I hit “add,” nothing happens.

Are these known issues? Did they just start?…I’ve done this for other posts using the Twenty Ten theme.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Sounds like maybe a permissions issue on the Uploads directory. Need to check that.

    DudeKnowsBest,

It sounds like you need to reinstall the theme or use a different browser because those problems sound like something was installed incorrectly.

See if its works for you or not if you are using WP 3.0

I modified my htaccess file and change the path as below..

    RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L]

because previously it was with RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-content/blogs.php?file=$2 [L]

and if you are using WPMU 3.0 blog.php is no longer in use, so far everything is working fine for me.

did you check your htaccess as well as .htaccess

I’ve created a few twentyten themed blogs now and I am having the same problem on each. The initial page that loads and possibly a few others look great but when you go into the single page view the body text appears on top of my header image and extending off the right side of the screen. Here is a page where this is happening, http://www.gmpetersonphoto.com/about/ I’m not sure if it is a browser issue or maybe I’m guilty of removing some of the code I shouldn’t have that is allowing this. Please help.

have you check your header.php and under that have you check your blog title div width which you can check from CSS.
