Fall through to index.php

    i have a single.php, but whenever i click on a psot form my main page ( home.php) the tempalte hierarchy jsut collapses and goes back to index.php.
    the site is http://theolds.j0d.net and the problem is o nthe main page, i know i dont have a catagory.php either, is this the problem?

    any help would be appreciated, thanks.
