Please help: Creating a review site (how to search)

Hello,

I really would like to try to create a company review site, which compares different companies in Holland, where the visitors must rate them.

I know there are a lot of rating/reviews plugins for WordPress, but before I buy something expensive I thought I might check here first.

I need a website where people can search on a companies name, but also do a search per city. Is this even possible with wordpress? I don’t want the companies show up as blogs sorted on dates.
