[Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] Cannot enter category IDs in widget

    Hi,

    I’ve installed the wordpress popular posts plugin and in the widget I check the exclude categories checkbox. I was expecting the possibility to add the IDs from the categories that I want to exclude there, but there is no filed where I can do this. Is this possible?

    Also, can I user shorttags in a text widget? [wpp] allows more options as the widget has.

    Hi George,

    You clicked on the Save button after ticking the Exclude categories, right? Once you do that, you should see an input box below where you can type in the categories you want to have excluded.

    Both the [wpp] shortcode and the widget version offer the exact same options. And yes, you should be able to use the [wpp] shortcode on a text widget.

    I didn’t save so that’s why the field where to put cat ids did not appear.
