Moving WP to main directory/replacing old site

    I have been busy building my new WP site at http://www.patiastephens.com/wordpress.

    I am wondering what’s going to happen when I am ready to replace my current/old site at http://www.patiastephens.com by moving all the files in the WordPress folder over to the main directory. (I presume.)

    Is there an optimal way to do this? Should I do it in Dreamweaver? Are there settings that will need to be changed in WP?

    Will WP automatically update links and URLs?
