• The posts on the main page of the blog are in an odd order. The most recent post is at the top (because it was checked as sticky) but then all of the posts after that are sorted oldest to newest. The odd thing about it is that all of the posts on the front page are set to sticky.

How can I get ALL of the posts to appear starting with the most recent at the top?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

I don’t think that it is the theme of the blog because the theme was changed recently and the posts were in the order they are in now before the theme was changed. Some of the posts were added after the theme was changed but they continued to be posted like they were before the theme was changed.

If I deactivate all of the plugins and then reactivate them, will that mess with any of the stuff that is on the blog so far (settings, posts, etc.)? If there is a chance that I could mess up the way that the blog works, I don’t want to activate/deactivate any plugins.

I’m having the same issue. I deactivated all the plugins and switched to default theme with no change…very odd. Any other thoughts?
