• Hello, if anyone knows of something that fits this bill please let me know. I’ve been looking around but I haven’t found a plug-in that looks like it would work, or be close enough.

What I am attempting to implement is a set of thumbnails, say 5-7 in a horizontal row, with either a scroll bar or side scroll buttons to display more images in the set/gallery. Thumbnails would link to a full-size version of the image in a lightbox. I want to insert this directly into the template, and have the images pulled from either a folder/set/tagset.

Just wondering if there is anything already out there that is close before I start working on something from scratch.

    Thanks!

  • Ditto. I’m looking for exactly the same thing. Simpleviewer will do this (outside of WP, and maybe within), but it uses flash, so unfortunately it won’t work for visitors to your site with iPads. Simpleviewer is working on a non-flash version- not sure when it is due out.

Apple features a horizontal scroll on this site- http://www.apple.com/html5/, see gallery, but it lays the highlighted image over the thumbs. It’s a CSS/html5 solution, but I don’t like the navigation as much as simpleviewer.
