no other posts on here have resolved the issue.
So which solutions have you actually tried so we don’t waste time?
Have you tried disabling all of your plugins by renaming the wp-content/plugins
directory?
Follow the steps :
1.check in the path wp-content/themes/your-folder (or) default folder presents.
2.go to wp-admin->appearance->themes and check the theme is activated or not?
If not activated ,please activate.
Still have a problem ,then download latest version of wordpress and put your theme inside(wp-content/themes/) and in admin activate your theme.

Senthil
I thought for sure the list above was pretty comprehensive. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. Yes everything is up-to-date. Everything was activated, unactivated, reactivated. Each plugin was checked for known issues on their native pages. There is one plugin that was not upgraded due to known issues, and the version that has no issues is kept. The theme is activated [ i thought for sure that by saying everything is activated, that included the theme, but just for you I will specify it here as well ]. In fact an entire week was spent just on the theme itself. We upgraded WP because their was a known backdoor trojan that attacked all host companies for the old version of WP. That fixed it for about 2 weeks, but then I am right back to square one with a completely broken dashboard.
Again, the list above is pretty comprehensive of what all was done. When I say everything, and all, it means just that. I write websites by hand, so you can be assured I go over everything with a fine tooth comb. And, I had no less than 4 technical support go over it with me.

It’s comprehensive alright. Didn’t say plugins on the WordPress side and we’re not mind readers so there was no harm in asking.
Since you’ve said everything, and all, and it means just that, you’ll have no problem solving this one.
Good luck.
