I have a free blog page on WordPress.org. I want to add, at the end of each blog post, a simple “share this” button, allowing readers to share each individual post by email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I’ve goggled everywhere trying to figure this out (forums, ShareThis, AddThis. Either the code doesn’t show up properly on the page or the application is too complicated for the reader (i.e. AddThis.com). I’ve also copied and pasted a ton of code, but nothing seems to work.

I am familar with basic HTML and am looking for basic a HTML code. Some pages talk about “plugins,” but I don’t think I can use them, and no idea how I would upload/download even if I could.

    PLEASE HELP!

    Thank you.

Do you mean that you have a wordpress.com blog or that you just have a page on someone else’s WordPress blog?

My own WordPress blog. Signed up, started the blog, and Bob’s your uncle. 🙂

I wanted to make it clear that I have not paid for an upgrade so many not have access to certain things.

    WordPress.com blog, no upgrades.

You cannot install plugins on a wordpress.com blog. As for adding sharing code, due to the variety of differences between wordpress.com and the self-hosted self-installed version of WordPress offered here, you’d be better off asking in the wordpress.com support forums:
