Advanced Excerpt plugin – allowed tag issue

I have the following Advanced Excerpt plugin.

I need to configure it to not allow any images in my excerpts, but I cannot figure how to accomplish this. Actually, the only tag I want to allow in my excerpts are active links. I am keeping it disabled until I can solve this problem.

I went into my plugin editor, looking at advanced-excerpt/advanced-excerpt.php. I see there is a section for “allowed tags” but I cannot find “img” or “img src” anywhere. I need to block image tags from loading in my excerpts, else they will load in my scrolling window and cause problems.
