Plug-in to prevent article appearing more than once on homepage?

    Hi,

    I run a news website which has a magazine style theme. It is organised into sections which are made by ‘categories’ such as ‘UK Politics’, ‘Economy’ etc.

    The first major section on the homepage is for the category called ‘All’ which allows the latest articles to appear.

    However the problem that I am having is that many article subject types can/should be in more than one category; e.g. talking about the EU Currency can fall under ‘Economy’ and the ‘European Union’.

    Is there a plug in that prevents an article showing up more than once on the homepage?

    Not sure of a plugin but in each of “the loops” that display posts from a specific category you could keep an array of the already displayed post id, then exclude those post ID from subsequent queries.
