Where are those?
wp-content/themes/your_current_theme/
Use FTP or use whatever file management application your host provides.
The location of your theme files are generally found under the main WordPress installation folder: ..\wp-content\themes\<your-theme>\
Uploading can usually be done with most any FTP program, or possibly via the control panel of your domain hosting service.

Thank you both. But just to make sure, you’re saying that I have to upload the images to the database that was installed on the server of my hosting company? Sorry if that’s what you’re saying and I’m making you repeat, this is all so new to me.
Ok, maybe this might make a little bit of sense after all.
Does this hold true for all images? I mean, if it’s post-related can I still use the media uploader?
I have to upload the images to the database
No – you have to upload the images to your current theme’s folder.
if it’s post-related can I still use the media uploader
Yes. The upload to the theme folder is only for images that are used by your theme as part of the page display – not your posts.

So then, Esmi, I have to confess, I have no idea how I would do that. Bear with me…Is it that I just choose what I want to upload (I use Fetch) from the options given then choose “get” or “put” and then just dump them into the correct folder indicated in the instructions in my theme? Is it really that simple?
And thanks on the media uploader part of the question.
I’m not sure what kind of file management or FTP client you’re using, so I couldn’t say for sure what operation you should select. I can only suggest that you consult the help documentation for that application.

I am using Fetch, but I was just clarifying for myself. Anyway, I’ll play around. Thanks a lot.
