   Hi,

   I was a novice in terms with doing wordpress. I was trying to edit a theme code yesterday until it gave me Parse Error. From the that time on I am unable to access my site due to the Parse Error. So I made little research and I think I made mistake. I logged in into my hostgator control panel and I deleted the web root files. After doing that's the time i got the 404 error :(. At this moment I'm not sure how to proceed. Need help.

   You deleted everything in the web root, including all wordpress files? If so, you'll need to upload them again, through ftp and proceed from there.
