    Hi,

    I have wp installed on wamp and I'm using the DirectoryPress theme. Trouble is I get 404 errors saying the page cannot be found.

    So far I have done the following:
    - in wamp I have clicked on apache, apache modules then checked rewrite_module
    - Find these lines (in httpd.conf) :

    #LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

    remove # sign

    and this line

    <Directory />
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride None
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
    </Directory>

    change into this :

    <Directory />
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride FileInfo Options
    Order deny,allow
    Deny from all
    </Directory>

    Has anybody got any other ideas?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the link. Unfortunately this is my first time using wordpress and wampserver, thus that guide is what I originally used to help me install wp.

    The strange thing is that the error only appears on the home page.
