404 on all pages

    I’m getting 404s on all pages with polylang active. Posts however are working fine.
    Changing theme and/or disabling other plugins did not help so I guess polylang is mixing up something with permalinks.
    After playing around a bit with polylang’s settings I could find out:
    Setting remove “language” from nice permalinks to true, pages cannot be found. If set to false pages are working.
    Any ideas how to fix this?
