   In the middle of an automatic upgrade though wordpress, it times out, but it says it successfully installed.

   At first it was giving me a Database error so I updated my wp-config file, and now it's giving me a 404 error.

   I'm an idiot, and did not back up my files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   Can you get at your database through phpMyAdmin? My guess is, the update did not run.

   Also, whatever it was that you updated in the wp-config, try to reverse that to the old values, see if you are successful then.

   Yes I can get at the database though phpMyAdin. I'm unsure what to do once I'm in there though.

   I am unsure what the old values were for the wp-config, do you know how I can figure this out?

   Currently the site is displaying this: "Error establishing a database connection"
