   hello. i am trying to install a wordpress blog.
   i modified the wp-config with the info my hosting gave me ( they already made a mysql database)

   i update the wp-config file and....

   Not Found
   The requested URL /www/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.

   the link is:

   http://www.dmsc.cl/www/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

   any clue on what i'm doing wrong?

   That address can't work. Why do you have that /www/ folder in the middle?

   On the other hand, your main address gives a forbidden 403 page http://www.dmsc.cl

   ok, i changed the folder to

   http://www.dmsc.cl/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

   and i get an access denied of some sort??

   Which means - the permissions on that folder/file won't let you see the file.

   From here, your whole site is "forbidden:
   http://www.dmsc.cl/

   and at the install file I see a 404 = not found.

   Check the permissions, check where the WP files are installed.

   thanks, i'll ask my hostong for that kind of permission
