404 errors after moving WordPress from localhost to a new domain

Hi,

I’ve installed WordPress on localhost (http://localhost/wordpress/), developed a theme from scratch and made some posts. It was working fine. I have uploaded WordPress onto my server (http://domain.com/) and configured DB. And it gives me 404 Not Found errors for posts.

I have tried deleting .htaccess in my root directory and given necessary permissions for WordPress to regenerate .htaccess file. As soon as I hit permalinks page, WordPress generates .htaccess file.

Still it gives me 404 error for posts & pages.

I followed up these steps listed on WordPress Codex, but in vain.

In addition, I have a 404.php page, and WordPress is not redirecting 404 errors to my 404.php page.

Where am I doing wrong? Can someone help me to fix this?
