404 errors? (2 posts)

I'm having a problem with 404s after installing the multi-site plugin. I had WordPress running just fine, installed the plugin, followed its instructions (including updating the .htaccess file), but it's not working.

If I try to access domain.com/site/2010/10/22/post-slug, I get a 404. If I strip the /site/ from that (domain.com/2010/10/22/post-slug), the post shows up fine -- but only for the default blog.

I poked around for answers here but found only that I should make sure I'd updated the .htaccess settings and have mod_rewrite turned on. Both are the case. Any further suggestions?

    Thanks.

  2. It really is best to enable the network *without* the plugin. the /site/ folder shouldn't be there, I have no idea what's adding it as it certainly isn't built in.
