I edited my Welcome post and saved it. When I clicked the View Post button, it gave me a 404 Error. However, I can go directly to the page and the update has been made. What's going on?

Ask your hosts if mod_rewrite is running on your server. In the meantime, try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting
