404 Error Page not found for admin dashboard

    Hi,
    I have found “404 Error Page not found” for my admin dashboard page, at main site admin bar at the top and other pages seem ok, the main site is up also.

    can any one help?

    try:

    – resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – renaming or deleting the .htaccess file by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. If you delete it make a backup first.

    try:
    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder from a fresh download of WordPress 3.1.4 by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
    – Check if your permissions are correct
    – Ask your host if they have any problems on their end.
