Sorry if this has been covered; I could not find a way to search through support posts. If there is already a resolution, please point me in the right direction. :-)
When I write a post, and try to either save the draft or publish it, I get back a 404 error. I was using 2.6.2, so I upgraded to 2.9.2 but the problem persists.
Thanks for any help.

I deactivated all the plugins, got no 404 error, then reactivated one by one: still no 404 error. Finally added original draft, with hyperlinks, categories, etc., saving the draft between each change, and finally publishing. No problem.
I don't know where the 404 error was coming from, but it's working now.
