   I'm trying to create the about me page, but all the new pages I make give a 404 error. I tried changing the permission settings on all blog folders, but that didn't help. I also tried changing the theme to the default, but encountered the same problem. I've made scores of wp blogs, and never had this trouble before. Any ideas?

   Try resetting your permalinks to default and see if they work then.

   If they do, try changing the permalinks back to what you want them to be.

   Doing this causes WordPress to rewrite the .htaccess file code.
