• Hi there,
I’ve setup an installation of WordPress on a web server, and I created some static pages. They worked perfectly with Pretty Permalinks for the last day, but out of no where, they stopped working. I keep getting a 404 error everytime I try to access any static page, for example my about page:

    http://www.krizka.net/about-me/

The posts still work the pretty permalinks, so I don’t think that .htaccess should be the problem. I’ve tried updating the permalinks through the Options page as suggested by another post, but no luck with that.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? I know that my web host is currently running some updates, so the server stability is a bit affected. Could that be it?

I managed to fix it by removing the rewrite_rules row in the wp_options table. Somehow it was missing the rules for pages, any idea how that happened?
