   Im still haveing difficulties trying to get the install screen working on the web. ive got my website as: http://graceartevents.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

   Not Found
   The requested URL /wordpress/wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.

   Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
   Apache/1.3.41 Server at graceartevents.com Port 80

   I have made new a new database and it and scrapped the old but still does not want to work

   any ideas would be great

   Check your Apache web server configuration for DocumentRoot.

   I don't think that where you extracted the WordPress files is where Apache thinks it is...

   hi im not sure what to do about fixing my apache stuff. i went into the file in my control panel and it says:

   Extension(s) Handler

   Error: while opening /home/gracear/public_html/.htaccess
   User Defined Handlers
   System Defined Handlers
   .cgi .pl .plx .ppl .perl cgi-script
   .shtml server-parsed
