[resolved] Installed to Wrong Directory (4 posts)

Help please. I first uploaded everything into the directory http://www.sherryness.com/new/
just to make sure everything worked before I replaced my main site with Word Press. I went through the database creation thing (please excuse me, I'm a layman!) and apparently it populated all kinds of fields within my program files with the /new/ directory information, but I didn't realize that at the time.
Once I saw that it worked ok, I deleted everything from that directory and just re-uploaded everything to my root directory. So now the front of my site looks fine, but if you try to interact with it at all, click on a link, what have you, it comes up page not found, of course, because it tries to send me to the /new/ directory.
How can I refresh the process of populating everything with the root information rather than the /new/ information??
Thanks - hope this is understandable!!

As you didn't install again, WP still think's it was where it was.
If you have phpmyadmin, there is an easy fix:

Thank you very much! I especially found the phpmyadmin step-by-step to be useful!
