  • Have you tried setting the permalinks back to what they were before?

A lot of times 403 errors on permalinks are due to permission issues with .htaccess (to strict) or needing to add

    Options +FollowSymLinks

    to first line of .htaccess.

Check out this older post on the WordPress.org forums:

Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If that works, then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again.
