   I'm really close to giving up hosting this on my server.

   When I try to log in with the admin username and assigned password, I get a 403 error.

   I've followed the recommendations about log in problems.

   One thing I've noted, after I've deleted the db and re-installed (which I've done like 5 times), the login screen appears already stating that I've entered an incorrect log in...then I enter admin and the pw and that takes me to the 403 screen.

   Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

   I have this same issue. I have not deleted the DB, but manually changed the password in the DB to make sure mine was correct.
