Blogroll/Links in page

Apologies if I just failed to find this on the forum, anyway I did look for a solution there first…
I’m using the Black Letterhead theme.
I want to use the Page Links To plugin to organise my external links. What I do not want is to have all the links listed right underneath my navigation. Is there a way to chuck these links into a usual page simply called “links”?
I remember reading somewhere that it would be unwise to just write direct html links into my link page, is that so?
