Printing / archiving our blog

Hi,

we have a wordpress blog, or my wife does, which she has been running since Jan ’05 to record all of the activities she does with our kids, as we are home-educating them.

This will be a really useful thing for the kids to be able to look back on in years to come. No doubt WordPress will still be going, or some variation of in say, 20 years, but! What we would really like would be to be able to send off, for example, an SQL file from the MySQL db. of each year’s posts, to a publisher.

We would pay them to print off a years worth of blogging into a book. We have three kids – so we could go for three copies for example… Then, the blogging my wife has spent to much time and effort in keeping up to date would be “future-proofed” because the kids could read it floating on a raft in the Pacific Ocean(!) instead of having to rely on us still having it hosted in the future, and on web servers and blog platforms being able to deal with potentially ancient blog content.

Has anyone come across anyone who offers a service like this?
