RSS redirect via htaccess
-
I am getting ready to set up feedburner on a WP install. What I would like to do is what Google calls “Alternate traffic redirection.” You will see it as the last option here:
http://www.google.com/support/feedburner/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=78464I installed a plugin to create an alternate feed link. The default rss can be reached at http://domain/feed/ the alternate can be reached at http://domain/feed/burnerfeed/
The code Google supplied for the .htaccess file is as follows:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !FeedBurner
RewriteRule ^index\.xml$ http://feeds.feedburner.com/YOURFEEDADDRESS [R,L]I think the part in bold has to be changed to a different command because my rss isn’t index.xml. Any help in figuring out what I need to do would be much appreciated. Thanks.
