  • I’d like to know this info also… can anyone verify if the plugin on the WordPress site is malicious? This looks to be the perfection solution for a project of mine…

There doesn’t appear to be anything malicious in the download at wordpress.org as it stands just now.

    Looks fine to me.

I have no idea whether the author’s site is still infected as I’m not daft enough to click on it, but can I request that a moderator takes out the link from the original post In case anyone is tempted to click on it?

    Removed the bad link.

    The plugin itself looks fine.

Oct 9, 2010 … VIPRE blocks trojan from authors site. Seems it’s still there as of today.

I confirme kirkwards finding. More clarity on the infected site.

It is not the authors page, as reported, unfortunately it is the site on which his page is hosted. The site is marked by Google as one that hosts Malware.

    Updates by other users welcome.

    Should be all cleaned up!
