    hi all,

i’m playing around with a theme (jukt micronics) but would like to know where in the editor i can modify *how* the blog articles are displayed. basically, i’m attempting to add a magazine-style look, and the theme has everything i need except for the front page layout!

    thanks. 🙂

  • Try editing the theme’s index.php template file.

well, in theory, that’s what i thought.

the problem is that after thumbing through my buddypress theme with the editor, i cannot locate any file that seems to include code that corresponds with the blog post layout. even the Main Index Template. i can make changes to the individual article pages and their respective layout, but not the front page itself.

so … unless the buddypress theme somehow pulls from some generic theme, or if i’m overlooking the obvious, i seem to be lost. :/

as always, any help would be appreciated 🙂

anyone wanna take another crack at this?

    thanks!

Buddypress themes are usually child themes of the main default buddypress theme located in the buddypress plugin directory. You should be able to find the loop in the default buddypress theme.

I have the same issue. What file includes the code that contains the blog post layout? I am using the Buddypress default theme.
