That red font is not normal. Your theme is doing that.
You can edit your theme to fix it.
or you can edit the css in the form advanced options to add font styling.
How to change the color or font styling for the input titles on the contact form:
Go to the contact form settings page, click on Advanced Options, look
for the setting “CSS style for form input titles on the contact form:”.
edit as needed.
I cannot find any text on the form’s configuration page (I’m assuming that is the form’s setting page). No where have I found anything that says, “CSS style for form input titles on the contact form:” I also cannot find a way to unify the fonts and sizes, so that they are not different for each form (e.g., Full Name isn’t the same font as when the Email info is typed in). I also cannot find where to turn off the required fields option that supposedly exists. Here is my page as is.
On the contact form settings page, scroll down a ways.
Look for the “Redirect” settings , it is just after that, a very large URL link:
“Click for Advanced Options (form x)”
It is a link on the same page that expands
the page to make it longer.
There you will find he extra fields and css settings.
I’m too embarrassed to tell you how many hours I’ve been trying finish tweaking this contact form because of not being able to find what I’m looking for and I still can’t find what you’re telling me.

Even with using search tools to look for the word “Redirect” I still can’t come up with anything.
Yes the configuration page is the settings page where you edit forms.
