How to read and edit PHP from my FTP Server?

    Hello all. I have recently needed to change my Theme code through my FTP server. I am curious as to how I can read and rewrite the Php file and replace it with the old buggy one?

    Download the theme folder to your local machine and edit the relevant files using a plain text editor. Then re-upload the amended files to your theme.
