How to 2 blogs?

    New to WordPress, so let me try to explain this. I created my pages on my site, but it looks like you can only have one page to blog in? I want to have my blog page, and a separate “news” page. Is there a way?

    If I cant do it that way. I am trying to have 2 widgets, one for Featured Content and one for Category Post. For some reason when I write a new blog, it posts in both widgets. I know it must be simple, but I cant figure it out. Is it the way you label the categories?

    Don’t have a concrete solution for you as I’ve never done this, but I would guess you could do it somehow by separating your posts into categories. You could eliminate news posts from displaying on the blog page, and could have a separate page that will only display news posts.

    This is just an educated guess, so don’t quote me… 😉 Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I can chime in here.

    Thats what I want. A separate page for my news…..that looks just like the blog page.

    I tried separating the posts into categories, and the news post still ended up in my blog page.

    It can be achieved by modifying wp_list_categories.
    To make the “home” tab gone, simply choose static page setting.
