I have an older install, based on WP 1.3 A2 located at my root level. However, I started a test installation - in /test. I would like to move all my old posts in to my new install, but still have that at the root level. Is there a good way of going about this?

Just upgrade the v1.3 installation to v1.5.1.3. See: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/upgrade/
