    hi there,

recently switched from PC to MAC and need some suggestions for tools you use for web design…

i.e. I need a small/free test editor with highlighting capabilities something like notepad++ I used on my PC

any other suggestions are also welcome. I am looking for freeware.

  • I’m a huge fan of Coda, it’s $100, but well worth it.

If you have the cash, obviously DW is worthwhile.
If not the budget for that, then as per above, Coda is brilliant.
If zero dollars, then check out BBedit’s Text Wrangler. Awesome!

I highly recommend Fraise. It’s a very basic text editor with only essential features. Best of all, it’s free!
