    Hello,

We have 2 primary WordPress installations using the latest stable version of WordPress (2.9.2) and just as of recent, with no changes to the VPS or Primary Server Node, the Permalink Configuration no longer shows within the administrative panel.

When we click on the link to manage permalinks, it simply shows a blank page as if there’s coding missing or perhaps something in the files has caused something to go wrong when making that specific request.

The actual permalinks themselves work, right now, though we’re having to go into phpMyAdmin and manually add the permalink info to the database for them to work since we cannot configure them from within WordPress.

The second issue we’re having is when trying to install WordPress, we never see the administrative information displayed, nor is the e-mail dispatched to the e-mail provided (or any other e-mail).

We’ve never had these issue before, never, so this is the very first time we’ve ever even had an issue with WordPress in all the years we’ve used it.

    SERVER INFORMATION
    ————————-

    Apache 2.2.15 / PHP 5.3.2 / MySQL 5.0.90

    Quad-Core CPU – 4GB RAM

    CPanel/WHM – CentOS 5 64-Bit

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
