Tag Cloud blank

I am trying to use tag cloud, but it is showing blank.

My posts have tags. The tag data was loaded using the import feature on wordpress from another blog. The tags all show up under posts and tags. BUT they don’t show in the sidebar. Even if I add the code manually to the sidebar using wp_tag_cloud() php. Also, when I look at the post tags section, they are there in the post, but when I search for “the most used tags” using that button, it also draws a blank… no tags. But the are there….anyone else seen this?

I am working from the notepad theme found here. I added custom sidebars though, so don’t know if that is the problem or not.

The default theme however doesn’t show tags either, so I dont think its theme related. It has to do with the data import I believe. Any suggestions?
